Collect this terrific vintage McCoy "Black Cook Stove" produced between 1961 and 1969.
Classic vintage stoves such as this one are all the rage in contemporary kitchens, and, given that they are hard to find, this cookie jar offers the perfect display accent.
The rectangular stove flares at the top and bottom. It features three burners and a black kettle set against a back rail to make soup. "Cookies" is printed in gold on the front oven door. Note the side compartments to bake bread and perhaps shove in the fuel.
The base is adorned with two exotic red birds and an abstract floral design on either side, all presented in relief. A black floral relief adorns the back.
This classic piece is a great find for the cookie jar collector.

CONDITION OF ITEM:
The cookie jar is in excellent vintage condition with minor wear to the brass cold paint and relief decoration on the bottom front. There appears to be a small bit of paint missing at one of the feet, on the top panel of the back, and on a corner of the lid that occurred during the manufacturing process and. There are also fleabite, very minor specks of paint missing in a few places. Stored in a smoke-free environment, this stove will delight the new owner and promises to be handed down through the generations.
