Produced as a limited edition of 1955 pieces, the year when Disneyland opened, to celebrate the July 17, 2005 Disneyland 50th Anniversary. The Main Street ornament was among the most popular produced and is highly sought-after.
The magic of Disney comes alive in this extraordinary ornament! Catch a magical ride with Mickey Mouse, the conductor of the red steam-powered locomotive at the Walt Disney Railroad Station.
The engines on the front and back of the ornament were among the four named for recognizable railroad men. The original two engines built for Disney in 1955 were the E.P. Ripley and the C.K. Holliday.
The Railroad Station invites one to step into old-fashioned American Main Street U.S.A., as inscribed on both sides of the building. Multicolored flowers on the back of the piece depict the image of Mickey Mouse.
Approximately 5 inches tall and 4 inches wide, this ornament has excellent presence and is a must for the Disney and Radko collector.
