Outstanding Gepetto rendition!
Featuring his familiar white hair and beard, ha holds a chisel, finishing the details on Pinoccho, the puppet. Wearing a blue felt felt vest, red short, white-buttoned yellow top, white and blue bow tie, yellow shoes, and green felt cap with a red band, Pinocchio still has his puppet strings. However, he comes to life and is about to jump off Gepetto's arm.
Gepetto's outfit adds to the authenticity of his ccharacterr. He wears an brownish or olive workshop tunic with pockets that hold a wooden screwdriver and hammer. Brown wooden buttons secure his white, cotton shirt. His tawny-colored boots have thick, knobby soles.
A brass plate on the front of the base reads, "Geppetto".
On the bottom of the base is the branded Steinbach logo and the numbered metallic Steinbach sticker, and various ink marks.
A special hangtag was created by Dipl-ing and either Karla Steinbach or Karolin Steinbach for nutcrackers that they signed.
Approximately 17 inches tall, the nutcracker is a landmark creation and a terrific find for both the Steinbach nutcracker and Disneyanna colector. Color variations occur in this piece.
