Great characterization of an all time great NFL player who came back after a stunning career, came out of retirement and was traded to the the New York Jets on August 7, 2008. On August 18, 2009,, he signed with the Minnesota Vikings and played one of his greatest years ever.
In addition to other accolades, he Won the Associated Press Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award three times, all in consecutive years (1995, 1996, and 1997; the last shared with Barry Sanders). And he was selected to play in the Pro Bowl eleven times in his career.
Sporting his whiskered chin, Favre wears his signature towel with the green and yellow Packers uniform. He holds his helmet.
