Christopher Steinbach "Pear Tree Santa" hand-tooled/carved and hand painted limited edition wooden German nutcracker.
Collect this very hard-to-find nutcracker produced as the first in the 12 Days of Christmas series. It was limited to a total of 5,000 pieces, quite limited for Steinbach nutcrackers.
Dressed in a luxurious long red robe with faux leopard fur and a stunning red and golden lame under gown, Santa comes bearing wonderful gifts.
He holds a beautifully carved tree that is adorned with pears and the infamous Partridge in a pear tree. He carries a golden bag in which is found the wooden music box that plays the "Twelve Days of Christmas" and holds a gold and red Twelve Days of Christmas book.
A plague on the clear, round wooden base reads, "Twelve Days of Christmas, Pear Tree Santa".
Standing approximately 17 1/2 inches tall, the nutcracker has outstanding presence and is an outstanding find for the nutcracker and Twelve Days of Christmas collector.
The bottom displays the numbered edition, branded Steinbach insignia, and the number 822, and the Twelve Days of Christmas music sticker.

CONDITION OF ITEM:
Excellent nutcracker that comes in its original Steinbach nutrcacker box, has the original gold and red Steinback hangtag, and has been stored in a smoke-free environment. Glued bird taill.
