Collect this elegant Valentine or anniversary Patricia Breen "Rose Trelliage Santa" Pink, select retailer, retired, mouth-blown and handcrafted Polish glass Christmas tree ornaments, 2002, B2002NM, 2002NM.
Produced as a Neiman Marcus online/catalog exclusive in 2002 and subsequently retired. We were told by store representatives that Breen made fewer than an estimated 500 available to the stores.
The painstakingly hand-glittered roses and delicate glittering on the silver, mirror finish trellis are creation challenge, but produce an exquisite effect!
Pink roses and accompanying foliage meander about the shiny sliver lattice design that patterns adorns Santa's matte pearl robe and hat. Awed by their beauty, Santa grabs fistfuls of the roses, producing a pleasing cluster of flowers about his pearl sculpted beard.
Swirled hues of fuchsia, rose, pink and pearl blended glitter beautifully detail the roses.
The lovely pink roses also trim Santa's hat and one serves as a pompom!
Note the excellent sculpting of Santa's black shoes just visible from the pearl glittered underside of the piece, his finely rendered facial features, as well as the gentle expression of his wise brown eyes.
