This Christopher Radko "New Fangle-Tangle" ornament would make a great addition to a snowman collection. A European hand blown glass ornament, Polish Christmas tree decoration, 2003, 1010457.
The jolly snowman was produced in 2003 and retired at the end of the year. Appealingly festive, it is dearly loved and highly collectible.
Forsty the snowman holds onto his teal hat with his red mittens as he tries to wiggle out of a golden box after trying it under the Christmas tree on for size. It seems that the mischievous snowman was so enamored by the box that he attempted to wear it! Alas, he is so chubby that now he can't get out of the box but is still enjoying the fun as he attempts to disentangle himself from the strung tree lights that he has inadvertently pulled down.
Apart from its amusing theme, the fine glass ornament is a great success in other respects. Great deal as is apparent by the hand-painted holly and berries and fruit on vine that adorn his hat, his red and pearl check scarf that's edged in golden glittered, and the golden stars and flowing ribbon decorsying the box.
Apprxoimately 5 1/2 inches tall by 2 1/4 inches diagonally on the bottom, the ornament has fine presence. Buy the snowman now before he wiggles out of his box and finds another home!
